Shout Out List

I picked the title for this page when I was a lot younger and everyone was always giving "shout outs" and so forth. At any rate, here are the wild people that I choose to hang out with, listed almost completely in alphabetical order so as to not hurt feelings.

My older and onliest brother, Ian. He also has a web page, which is viewable through this link. Everything I know about C programming, I pretty much owe to him, especially with regards to good syntax and style. When I'm older and either instigate my revolution or start my company, he will be my right hand.

Christina and Brad Cobb. I'm on the right. I had this picture taken over Christmas 2003. They've been dating since they were seniors in high school (1997) and were married on December 29, 2001.

Kevin Cox, photo taken over Christmas 2003. We went to high school together and see each other infrequently.

Adam Dorris, photo taken January 2004. What can I say about Adam? Friend, cohort, compatriot. We ruled the Library Facilities at UT for three years, and still to this day are the greatest set of assistants Joe Lucas ever had.

Brad and Jill English, photo from Christmas 2003. I've known Brad since third grade. I meet Jill on the eve of their wedding, and had in fact only heard of her vaguely once before when Brad told me "I'm getting married to Jill, would you be in my wedding?" while we were in the Museum of Natural Science in Houston to see the Star Wars exhibit. The were married on March 2, 2002.

Thomas Hughston, photo taken March 2004. He was my roommate for the first two years of college. We've also been to Anime Expo twice, in 2000 and 2001. I also had the wisdom to bring him onboard as a reviewer for DVD Town, which has pretty much gauranteed that we're not paying for anime ever again.

Look at this guy, Michael Kang. I took this photo over Christmas 2003. You know, I'm not gay, but if I was, I still wouldn't go out with him. Burn! I've known Mike for longer than I was friends with him. We're the best people we know at karaoke. Sometimes we blow the crowd away with our soulful duet of "Hit Me Baby One More Time".

The enigmatic Robert Lee. This guy is like Punxsutawney Phil, you never see him. I don't remember when this photo was taken (I wasn't there), but he's at the Ghibli Museum in Japan. The statue is a life-size of a Laputian robot from "Tenku no Shiro Laputa", my personal favorite Miyazaki film. Not that I'm insanely jealous.

Ian Macpherson, photo taken Christmas 2003. We nicknamed him Tequila Scotch on account of his South American mother and Scottish father. He used to own a Macintosh computer, but he lost the faith and bought a PC. Booooo.
